Child protection legislation in South Australia require certain organisations to provide a child safe environment. All state authorities and persons or bodies who provide a service or undertake an activity that constitutes child-related work under the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 must meet these obligations. The Department of Human Services provides support and guidance to organisations to meet the related standards and legislative requirements.
