‘Safe and well’ is South Australia’s plan to support vulnerable families to thrive and keep children safe. Agencies across government are working together to improve services, from targeted early intervention to protection measures and support for young people leaving care. An integral part of ‘Safe and well‘ is shifting the way we work with Aboriginal families, communities and children to reduce overrepresentation in all parts of the system and provide culturally safe services.
